This meeting was held on the 29<sup>th<\/sup> of June at the Institut d&#8217;Estudis Catalans and it is organised by SCB every summer since 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One month later, on the July 22<sup>th<\/sup>, Gala won the prize to the best oral communication in the Jornades de Aq\u00fcicultura also organised by the SCB, that took place last week at the Institut d\u2019Estudis Catalans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022-1024x949.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4667\" width=\"343\" height=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022-1024x949.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022-300x278.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022-768x712.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022-281x260.jpg 281w, https:\/\/ibb.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gala_Premio_SCB_2022.jpg 1171w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 343px) 100vw, 343px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting focused this year on the micro and nano-plastics pollution in the Mediterranean.
